Gerhard E Gerth passed away peacefully on Friday, May 8, 2026 at the age of 96.  Preceded in death by wives Ronaele and Erma.  Survived by sister Arlene Faehn; daughters Beverly, Linda (Ted), Sharon, and Charlotte.  Eight grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  He was employed by St John's Hospital for over 40 years.  In retirement he enjoyed singing in a German chorus.  He and his wife Erma traveled extensively in the United States and Europe.  Funeral service will be held Friday, May 22, 2026 at 11 AM.  St John's Lutheran Church, 765 Margaret Street, St. Paul, MN.
