Dr. Faye N. Larry was born on October 19, 1960, in St. Paul, to the union of Wilson Larry and Blanche Ratcliff Larry. From an early age, Faye displayed a compassionate spirit and a deep love for both reading and animals qualities that would shape the course of her life and career.

She received her high school diploma from Thomas Jefferson High School and continued her education at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, where she earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Her dedication, intelligence, and love of animals led her to a distinguished career in veterinary care.

Dr. Larry later opened and successfully owned and operated Pandora’s Box Veterinary Clinic in Brooklyn Center for over fifteen years. Through her practice, she provided compassionate care for countless animals and comfort to their owners. She was respected not only for her professional excellence, but also for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering commitment to serving others.

After years of faithful service, Dr. Larry’s health began to decline, leading her to step away from the work she loved so dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson Larry and Blanche Ratcliff Larry.

Dr. Larry leaves to cherish her memory her siblings: Dawn Lindsey of Clinton; Tina Griffin-West (Sam) of Clinton; and Vaughn Larry of St. Paul. She also leaves behind her longtime friend and associate, Ricky Wunderlich of Roseville, along with a host of beloved nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, extended family members, friends, and business associates.

Dr. Larry also deeply cherished her beloved companions, Mercury the Conure and Jr. the Cat, who brought her much joy and companionship throughout her life.

Dr. Faye N. Larry’s legacy of compassion, dedication, and love for both people and animals will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

A Service will be held at St Peters AME Church, 401 E 41st Street Minneapolis, MN 55443, on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 1:00 P.M
