Karen Sue Christenson passed away on May 1st, 2026.

Karen had a great love for wildlife and nature and was "Mommy" to several dogs throughout her life that were all treated and loved as immediate family members.  The dogs all played a crucial role of filling a void in her life of never having children of her own.

One of her favorite pastimes was watching all the birds, squirrels, rabbits, and deer that frequently visited the yard.

She will be greatly missed by those who were close to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Frances.

She is survived by her brothers, Dean Thiem (Cindy) and Richard Bennett, sister, Nancy Yelton and husband, Ross.

There will be no services.
