Linda J. Mudgett passed away on April 28, 2026 surrounded by family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Janet, sisters, Nikki and Katie, and many cousins. 

She is survived by her children, Gerald (Tina), Theresa (Sequita) and Kristina (Jerome), siblings, Verna (Stan), Vern, Tammy, Michael and Steven (Dana), grandchildren, Nick, Nikko, Kevin, Hailey, Sierra, Brianna, Nash and Lilyanna, great-grandchildren, Daunte, Ma'Lani and Lucas, as well as many other family and friends. 

Linda was always and animal lover, who loved cats and dogs, particularly boxers. She was an exceptional grandmother and great-grandmother. Family life was extremely important to her. She will now finally be reunited with her mother.

A force to be reckoned with. A gentle soul, Linda was a woman of many titles, and she wore each one with love, compassion, and grit. She was vibrant and unfiltered—a feisty, fierce protector of those she held dear. For Linda, family always came first, and her pride in them was as loud and clear as her laugh.

She was fascinatingly funny and humorously gross. Never missing an opportunity to crack a joke that would make the whole room blush or burst into laughter. Whether she was checking her football tickets or eyeing a poker hand, Linda was always in the money, fueled by a competitive spirit that was as authentic as her "tell it like it is" personality. Though she was a woman of many layers, every role she played—from mother to friend—was defined by a heart that gave generously and a spirit that refused to be anyone but herself.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Kargel Park in Woodbury on May 17th, 2026 from 1:00 P.M - 6:00 P.M. 9301 Tamarack Rd, Woodbury, MN 55125
