Andrew Coy Hamlin, 39, affectionately known as "Goomba," passed away way too soon on April 30, 2026.

Andrew was raised in the communities of Elk River and Grand Rapids, Minnesota. A dedicated and versatile worker, he spent many years as a proud member of the Union. His creative spirit flourished in the kitchen, where he enjoyed cooking for various local restaurants. Most recently, he found deep fulfillment serving his community as a compassionate personal care assistant.

An avid fisherman, Andrew found peace on the water. He also enjoyed the digital worlds of Minecraft and took great pride in his truck, spending countless hours meticulously perfecting its sound system. Above all, Andrew cherished time with his many friends, leaving a lasting impression with his signature goodbye: "PEACE!"

He is survived by his parents, LaRoy and Barbara Hamlin; his son, Preston; and a large circle of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
