I remember Jeanne ‘for her sense of humor. I have so many wonderful memories of her just cutting up. I think the first time I ever spent a lot of time with her was when we drove to New Orleans we were coming down to our new to our new house and she rode with me and the girls. We laughed all the way down. One particular memory was, she saw an armadillo on the side of the road with his feet up in the air. He was dead, obviously.. Jeanne screamed oh my gosh, I just saw a prehistoric animal and when I told her Louisiana had armadillos everywhere she said there’s no way that there was a way we saw many more dead ones and she was just in how they were always on their back with their feet in the air. She had a great laugh and that’s what I’ll remember her for.

Jeanne will be remembered for her great kindness. She was kind throughout her life, had a sweet engaging smile and I loved her "laughing eyes". When she laughed she had the prettiest face and her eyes just twinkled. My parents moved to WI and in 1968, pregnant Jeanne, came to Wisconsin to babysit for 5 of us while my mom had her 6th. Pretty amazing that someone would do that much for her Uncle Johnny (my dad). I will miss seeing her chatting at family reunions with that twinkle in her eye! Rest in Peace, Jeanne!

Jeanne and I were school friends at St. Joseph’s Academy in St Paul. We became instant friends. After graduation we remained friends and brought our families together. I admired her way of handling struggles and her fierce determination. Her involvement with the community was heartfelt!. Will miss her easy laugh and sweet smile! Looking forward too beinvg with her for n our next life .
