It is with great sadness that we share that Theodore (Ted) Majeres passed away on March 20, 2026, with his wife of 56 years by his side.

Ted was born on April 13, 1941, and was the fourth born of six kids to Michael and Cecilia Majeres in Red Lake Falls MN. Following school, he entered the Army and was stationed in Germany, an experience he spoke of fondly throughout his life.

After returning home, Ted met Joan Feyereisien, and they were married on September 13, 1969. Together they quickly grew their family and made their home in St. Louis Park until retirement, when they moved to Hackensack, MN — a place where countless beautiful memories were created.

Ted is survived by his wife of 56 years; his children Michael Majeres, Tom Majeres, Dan Majeres (wife Nicole Nordquist), and Sara “Bear” Majeres; his grandchildren Mackenzie Majeres, Eloise Majeres, and Oscar Majeres, and many loved ones and friends.

Those who knew Ted knew how much he cherished sharing space with the people he loved — enjoying a cold beer by the grill, taking relaxing pontoon rides on Birch Lake, and spending time with his cronies at the Legion in Hackensack. He will be deeply missed, but we find comfort in knowing he was ready and is at peace.

A private service will be held at Fort Snelling where he will be laid to rest and a celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May17th at Park Tavern 3401 Louisiana Ave S, St. Louis Park, MN 55426 from 3-6.
