Darla Rae (White) Joseph, age 65 of Brooklyn Park, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on April 8, 2026 in her home.

Darla was born on August 7, 1960 in St. Paul. She graduated from Johnson High School. She spent her last 25 years with her partner, Tom Peterson. Darla loved spending her summer vacations at the "lake" with her large family, wintering on the beautiful shores of Sea Grove Beach, Florida, where Darla and Tom met many new friends. Darla also enjoyed traveling to many casinos with her special friend Tom.

Darla Joseph was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Betty White; and brother, Daniel. 

She is survived by her sisters, Debra Steele and Deanna White (Mike); sister-in-law, Sue White; nephews, Adam, Austin, and Eli (Heidi); nieces, Susie, Casey (Wyatt, Cain, Brooklyn, and Kennedy), Mandy (Quincy, Creighton, and Wesley); and many friends, family, and Darla's lifelong best friend, Doreen Cruz.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 3rd, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM at the Cremation Society- Brooklyn Park, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Park MN.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial tributes be directed to Debra Steele to assist with funeral expenses.
