Paul, age 81, passed away on April 20, 2026, surrounded by the family he loved so deeply. Paul was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and man of faith. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Barb; his three sons: Ben (Jenn), Andy (Amber), and Tim (Grace). He was a proud grandfather to Henry and Lenora; Caleb and Brooke; and Dexter, Luci, and Evie. His family was the center of his life, and he found great joy in being present for both the big moments and the everyday ones. Growing up, Paul was a gifted athlete, but he would want to be remembered not for his accomplishments on the field, but for his faith in Jesus Christ and the way he lived his faith. His life reflected a steady commitment to serving others. He was always eager to lend a hand—whether helping a neighbor, supporting his children, coaching youth athletics, or volunteering at church. Paul spent most of his career with Anoka County Parks, where he took pride in maintaining the parks—cutting grass in the summer and plowing snow in the winter. He genuinely loved what he did and the simple, honest work it involved. More than anything, Paul will be remembered for his humility, steady presence, sense of humor, and servant's heart. His legacy lives on in the family he raised and the many lives he impacted through his kindness and faith. A celebration of life will be held from 10:00AM to 12:00PM on Friday, May 1st at Eagle Brook Church, 8498 Sunset Rd NE.
