Dolores Dietzler (Sweitzer)

Age 94, of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026.

Dolores was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Peter; her parents; and many brothers and sisters.

She dedicated 23 years of service to Marriott Food Service, retiring in 1996. Above all, Dolores will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose kindness and steady presence touched many lives.

She is survived by her four sons: Peter (Cathy), Dennis (Linda), Bernard (JoAnn), and William (Tammy); grandchildren Shaina (Nate) Welch, Justin (Maria) Dietzler, Christian Dietzler, Tyler Dietzler, Peter (MaKayla) Dietzler, Holly Dietzler (Ben) and Andrew Dietzler (Rachel); four great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Paul (Sylvia) Dietzler; and many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Avenue, Edina. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, with a reception to follow.
