Ronald J. Rogowski Obituary

Ronald J. Rogowski, 68, of Bessemer, Michigan, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026, with his loving wife by his side.  Ronald was born September 18, 1957, in Racine, Wisconsin, to the late Raymond Walter and Alphild Lorraine (Tollefson) Rogowski.

On May 20, 2000, he was united in marriage to Roxanne Mountain in Sparta, Wisconsin.  Ron graduated from Palmyra High School class of 1976.

To describe Ron was to know him; Strong, capable, multi-faceted, funny, respected, and most of all loved.  Ron will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him. If you didn't know or understand something, Ron was sure to be there and explain and show you the many gifts he had learned growing up.

Ron lived life to the fullest, giving to others through his actions.  Ron was a member of Masonic Lodge #389 in Ironwood, Michigan, Shriners, Order of the Eastern Star and many other masonic organizations.  You would see Ron volunteering to sell Vidalia Onions or riding in parades on mini trucks, motorcycles and more just to see the children in many communities smile!  Ron was an avid fly fisherman and guided for many years.  Ron was honored in the Fins and Feather publication with his own fly-fishing lure “Ron's Rogue”.  When not fishing, he would pursue many of his other interests of leather work, gold and silversmith, rock hounding, and Ham Radio-KG3Q.

Surviving is his loving wife Roxanne (Mountain); sons Randall (Sarah) and Anthony (Melinda); grandchildren Wyatt, Emma and Mia Rogowski, Ronald is further survived by his stepchildren BobbyJo and Angela Scott; his step-grandchildren Dashiell, Finnian, and Avery Scott.  Ronald is survived by his siblings Jeannine (Alex) Schneider of the Villages, Fl., Rayne Lee (Gary) McKendry, of Neosha, WI,  Ryan (Deb) Rogowski, of Chapman, Kansas, Roxanne (Greg) Hoople, of New Auburn, WI, and Barb (Russell) Rounds, of Warren, PA, sister-in-law April Rogowski, Mount Pleasant, WI; Mother-in-law Joan Reeb of Jamestown, ND, brother/sisters-in-law James (Melissa) Reeb of Aberdeen, SD, Jacob (Christy) Reeb of Victoria, Minnesota,  nieces, nephews, many other relatives and dear friends.  Ronald was preceded in death by his brother Robert in February 2026.
