Carol Williams Schuler, age 70, of Edina. Born July 12, 1955, in Englewood, New Jersey, to Irma and Hal Williams. Passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026, at home, surrounded by family and friends, after a courageous journey with cancer.

Carol graduated from the U of M and went on to travel the world. With her former husband, Mike, she raised her family in Australia and Boliva, eventually returning home to Edina. She founded Schuler Publicity, building a successful career defined by her natural gift for connection and storytelling. She was known for her warmth, humor, generosity, resilience, and an unwavering love for family and community.

Even in the face of profound health challenges, Carol approached each day with gratitude and her signature wit, determined to embrace every moment, share every laugh, and give and receive as many hugs as possible. She often said she didn’t know how anyone could endure such a journey with an “army of love”, and she felt that love surrounding her every day. The family is grateful for the outpouring of support from Carol’s friends and North Memorial Health Hospice.

Carol cherished time with her children and grandchildren, traveling to her beloved Big Island, Hawaii, and gathering people together. One of her most treasured final moments was being present for her daughter Maddy’s wedding on March 21, where she radiated joy as she witnessed the vows and shared in their first dance. She lived fully, loved deeply, and left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Hal (Kara), Geoffrey (Sara), and Maddy (Megan); grandchildren, Phoenix, Kaiya, Briggs, and Willow; siblings, Marcia Olsonoski (Ron) and Hap Williams (Carrie); two nieces, two nephews; three great-nieces, and three great-nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 3:00 - 5:00 pm, with visitation from 2:00 - 3:00 pm at the Minneapolis Golf Club, 2001 Flag Ave. S., St. Louis Park, MN.

In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to Pancan or North Memorial Health Hospice.
