Loving Memory of Todd Lee Johnson

Todd Lee Johnson, age 69, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and a legacy of love that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. Todd was born on April 3, 1957, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and spent much of his life rooted in the state he loved, most recently residing in Lakeville, Minnesota.

Todd graduated from Richfield High School in 1975, beginning a journey marked by hard work, loyalty, and meaningful connections. One of the most pivotal moments of his life happened while working as a bouncer at Champs Sports Bar, where he met the love of his life, Camille Hintz. Todd proudly referred to Camille as “his bride,” a term of affection that perfectly reflected the deep love and devotion they shared throughout their 31 years of marriage.

Todd built a long and dedicated career in aviation, beginning as a baggage handler with Northwest Airlines and continuing through its transition to Delta Airlines. He remained with the company until his retirement in 2020. Known for his great sense of humor, Todd loved playing pranks on his coworkers, keeping the workplace lighthearted and full of laughter. while earning the respect of his coworkers through his reliability and strong work ethic.

Outside of work, Todd found his greatest joy in the outdoors. An avid duck and goose hunter, he considered time spent in the field with his buddies not just a hobby, but his true passion. Those moments—early mornings, shared stories, and lifelong friendships—were some of his happiest.

Todd was preceded in death by his parents, Orrin and Maude Johnson of Richfield, Minnesota, as well as his brother Barry Johnson and sister Cindy Troendle (Johnson). He is survived by his beloved wife Camille, along with five nieces, three nephews, and many extended family members who will forever cherish his memory.

Although Todd’s life was cut short by Alzheimer’s disease, his spirit, stories, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will always be remembered for his warmth, humor, loyalty, and the deep love he carried for his “bride”, family, and friends.

A Remembrance of Todd’s Life will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Porter Creek Hardwood Grill located at 14201 Burngarten Drive, Burnsville, Minnesota 55306.
