Jon Williams, 63, of Columbus, Minnesota, passed away on April 3, 2026.

Jon was preceded in death by his mother Donna and his mother Dorothy. He is survived by his father, Joe; his daughters, Angela (Ryan), Samantha (Vince), and Cassie (Nate); and his grandchildren, Haley, Lexi, Logan, Blake, and Moe.

Jon was an avid outdoorsman who found great joy in hunting and fishing, especially when sharing those passions with family and friends. Some of the most cherished stories will forever begin with time spent alongside him in the woods or on the water. He was a steady, grounding presence, a man his family could always count on. As a father, he showed up consistently, offering patience, guidance, and a sense of security that shaped the lives of his daughters in lasting ways.

He was deeply committed to his sobriety and celebrated 38 years sober at the time of his passing. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved him. A celebration of Jon’s life will be held on April 16 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Trappers Restaurant, 6810 Lake Drive, Lino Lakes, Minnesota. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations to the Alaska Conservation Foundation.
