Jerry Cooper “Coop” passed away peacefully at home on March 17, 2026, at the age of 86.

He was born in Sheldon, IA, moved to Windom, MN, where he attended high school, then went on to Mankato State to earn his Bachelor’s Degree. After a 35-year career in retail management, he retired and enjoyed years of tennis, time at the lake and cheering on his five grandkids in their sports and activities.

He is deeply missed and survived by his wife of 62 years, Judy, daughters Carrie (Scott), Robin (Jay) and son Chad (Sarah), as well as his grandchildren Cooper, Ellie, Ethan, Jackson and Avery.

Visitation will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, April 22 at St. Victoria Catholic Parish in Victoria, MN, followed by mass at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research or the ALS Association.
