James David Beasley, age 76, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026. He was born on June 13, 1949.

James was preceded in death by his beloved eldest son, James D. Beasley, and his parents, Lorraine J. Edwards‑Ritchie and Melvin E. Beasley.

He enjoyed traveling, fishing with his sister Tina, listening to old-school music, and playing poker with friends. These moments brought him happiness and lasting friendships he treasured dearly.

He dedicated many years of his working life to the food service industry, where he later retired. James genuinely loved interacting with customers and coworkers.

Above all, James loved his family. He was always emotionally and physically present for those he cared about. While he will be deeply missed, the memories he created will forever live on in the hearts and minds of those who loved him.

James leaves to cherish his memory his two sons, Joshua D. Beasley and Lucas T. Beasley; four grandchildren, Makai, Malik, Johanna, and Miles; and his two sisters, Rosvlyn A. Ritchie-Hill and Benita C. Ritchie-Witt. He also leaves a host of other loving family members, friends, and acquaintances.
