Seneca Berg Obituary

Seneca Berg passed away on November 26th, 2025. Less than a month before his 45th birthday. He was deeply loved and will be fiercely missed by those to whom he mattered so much.

He was a son, a brother, and a father.

Above all, Seneca is survived by his only daughter and the love of his life, Aurora. She was his greatest joy, his pride, and his heart, even in the toughest times of parenthood. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Ethel; his sister Erin, her husband Zach, and their children Kourtney, Liam, and Kennedy; his sister Kaity; and his brother Jordan, his wife Kayla, and their children Everett, Benson, and Lucy; and many friends.

He loved working with his hands and enjoyed being a mechanic, fixing cars. He liked understanding how things worked.

He also loved the Renaissance fairs. Seneca bought season tickets, dressed the part, and fully leaned into the experience. It was something he genuinely enjoyed, a place where he could be playful, curious, and have fun.

He loved being outdoors. Nature was where he felt most himself. Seneca walked a lot, often spending hours outside, covering marathon-length distances simply because it brought him peace. Minnehaha Falls was one of his favorite places, and you could often find him there in his spare time, walking, thinking, and taking it all in.

Seneca was more than the hardest part of his life. He was more than a single moment or a death alone. He will always be remembered for his mind, his humor, his care for others, his cat collection, and the genuine way he moved in the world.
