Kathleen Patrice Hanley Obituary
Kathleen Hanley was born November 22, 1953, and passed away on March 24, 2026. She was the daughter of Robert and Dorothy Hanley, and sister to Holly, Mark, and Mary, all of whom predeceased her. She is survived by husband Mike DeRusha, an amazing man. Other survivors include stepdaughters Emily Weatherall (George), Ellen Sterling (Shawn), and Elaine Erickson (Jared), beloved granddaughters Mackenzie and Carly Erickson, Olivia and Quinn Weatherall, nephew Todd (Kristin) Zick, nieces Katie (Homero) Faris, Liz Boles, and lifelong friends Chris and Ed Anderson.
Kathleen’s life as an educator was very gratifying. She stated, “I had a great life!”
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorial gifts may be made to Academy of Holy Angels, designated for the David Anderson Scholarship. Condolences may be offered through The Cremation Society of MN, Edina.
