Kevin Lynn Ruhnke Sr., age 70, a proud life-long resident of Hermantown, passed away on March 17, 2026. He was born to Carl Jr. and Peggy Ruhnke on August 13, 1955. Kevin lived a full and sometimes complicated life, but those who knew him best knew a man who worked hard, was always on the “go, go, go,” and cared deeply for the people he loved. Some of Kevin’s favorite pastimes included riding his Harley, Wednesday wings, and spending time at the lake and in Florida. More than anything, Kevin was a proud grandpa who enjoyed the time spent with his grandchildren.

Later in life, Kevin developed a deep faith in Jesus Christ. That faith became an important part of who he was, and he faithfully attended Hermantown Community Church where he found encouragement, friendship, and spiritual growth.

Kevin is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carla. He is survived by his children, Crimsen (Ryan), Shana, Joseph (Emily), Angel (Aaron), Carla (Jim), and Kevin Jr. (Kati), who will now be left “to do all the thinkin’,” 10 grandchildren, and brother, Kelly.

Kevin will be deeply missed, but lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

A time of gathering will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Hermantown Community Church with a memorial service to follow at 10:45 am, “click-click.”
