Jeanne Irene Manteufel 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Cardigan Ridge Senior Living in St. Paul, MN.

Jeanne was born on May 5, 1932. A St Agnes High School Alumnus and Credit Manager for Stone Container, she was an amazing mother of four children and devout Christian. She was a person that would light up a room upon entering.

She was preceded in death by her husband (Herbert) of over 71 years and is survived by her four children, Laurie Orr (Terry), Barbara Szaflarski (Charles), Michael (Annette), and Patrick (Erica) and 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She will be remembered as a wife who loved her husband and as a mother who gave everything of herself for her children to succeed in life. A woman who loved God and taught her family to love God and respect each other and treat everyone you meet with that same amount of respect. Eternal rest grant unto Jeanne, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace.

A HUGE shout out to HealthPartners Hospice & Palliative Care for all your amazing services! The nurses were outstanding! The social worker, health aide, chaplain, massage and music therapy. They worked so well together, and mom was comfortable, pain-free and she enjoyed all of your visits very much!! You all brought such peace to our family!
