KRATKY, John E., age 72, of Otsego, passed away, surrounded by family on March 20, 2026.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Ruth "Judy" Larson; sister, Kelly Erickson; father in-law, Douglas Lindquist; brother in-law, Roger Irwin. 

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 34 years, Pam (Lindquist); children, Johnathan Kratky (Anna), Brandon Kratky (Jennifer), Jeremy Kratky (Emily), David Isais (Missy), Angela Pisco (John); grandchildren, Anton, Emily, Sophia, Brooklyn, Carly, Elissa, Rylee, Victoria (Andrew), Jada, Kate, Alannah, Jameson, Lillian, Maverick; great grandson, Jessie; siblings, Robyn Irwin, Mary Jo Gullekson (Loren), Tamara Waderich (Steven); mother in-law, Ginger Lindquist; brothers and sisters in-law, Doug Lindquist, Jr., Cindy Kupfer (George), Laura Welch (Mike), Jason Lindquist (Ann); many nieces, nephews, loving relatives and good friends. 

He was a man larger than life-someone who didn't just enter a room, but filled it with his presence.  A natural leader, he led with strength, confidence, and a deep sense of responsibility for those he loved.  Whether in the woods, on the water, or at home, he was always the one others looked to for guidance.
