Age 87 of Plymouth MN Died 3-12-26. Preceded in death by parents Marvin & Irene & son Tom.  Survived by Mary, wife of 60 years, son Greg (Jennifer), grandchildren Griffen & Tillie, daughter-in-law Janet & brother Roger (Gloria). Born 11-02-1938 in Minneapolis, Bob was a graduate of

Patrick Henry HS & University of Minnesota Business School. He remained an avid Gopher Football fan & season ticket holder for over 50 years.

Bob served in the Navy Air Reserves from 1960-1966. He served in the position of Computer Search Station Air Crew as Enemy Submarine Hunter & later at Oakland, CA Naval Air Station.

After a transfer by 3M Co. in 1965, Bob & Mary resided in San Francisco for 10 years, where their pride & joy, sons Tom & Greg were born. Bob had a celebrated 35 yr career at 3M concluding in the Opticom Division of Safety & Security. Bob took pride in his work and received numerous awards.

Bob & Mary had full and active lives. They loved to travel, play golf, tennis, and ski with their sons.  Bob enjoyed socializing & maintaining his many long lasting friendships from childhood, college and 3M. Bob always put family first and cherished his grandchildren, Griffen & Tillie. A man of deep integrity, we will forever be inspired by his work ethic, kindness and humility. Bob & Mary enjoyed their cabin on the beautiful waters of Crooked Lake where family and friends will continue to feel his love.

The family would like to acknowledge the supportive staff at Lakeside Memory Care and that of Optage Hospice. In lieu of flowers or memorials, Bob would have asked that you show kindness to others in his honor.

A service in his memory will be held at Lake Harriet United Methodist Church - 4901 Chowen Ave. S. Minneapolis on Monday, May 18 at 2pm with visitation at 1pm.
