Mrs. Muoi To Luu, age 84, of Brooklyn Park, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She lived a full life defined by her deep love of people, places and shared meals.

Muoi loved a good travel adventure, gardening challenge and was always eager to experience something new.  Muoi had a compassionate spirit and found joy in helping those that were less fortunate, giving what she could to uplift others. 

At the heart of Muoi’s life was her family and community. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.  Her house was always open, filled with warmth, laughter and the comforting aroma of meals that brought everyone together.

Muoi is survived by her husband of 59 years, Tai Luu; children, Quyen (Fred) Chung, Kristy (Mike) Nguyen, Xam (Thuy) Luu,  Linh (John) Hong, Renee (Hue) Dan, Jennifer (Joel) Matthews; grandchildren, Timmy (Ivy) Nguyen, Diana (Sam) Kane, Jessica (Todd) Vierick, Chris Chung, Melinda (Ryan) Phillips , Ben Matthews, Brandon Hong, Emily Hong, Jimmy Luu, Julia Matthews, Deanna Luu, Sophia Dan, Andy Luu, Vincent Dan;  and great grandchildren, Gemma, Audrey, Bryson, Cashton.

She will be remembered for her strength,compassionate spirit, and love of life. 

  The family kindly requests that no donations are made. In her honor, loved ones are encouraged to gather, share a meal and hold one another close- just as she always did.

Public Visitation 1030am-1:30PM Wednesday, March 25th at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7835 Brooklyn Boulevard, Brooklyn Park (763-560-3100) 1:30PM Memorial Prayers.  2:00PM Eulogy.  Interment to follow at Mound Cemetery, Brooklyn Center.
