Karen Marie Kaehler (Kratt), age 83 years old, of St. Paul, MN passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026. She is preceded in death by parents Ed & Murial Kratt, sisters Betty (Gary) Kickbush, Geri Berthiaume, Margaret Schmidt and her brothers Tom and Ed Kratt. She is survived by her loving husband Ernest, her children Scott (Haley), Ann Marie (Joel) Peterson, Ernest (Joeleen) Kaehler. Her grandchildren Matt, Katelyn, Carter, Natalie and Gavin.

Karen was a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to plan family get togethers, go to the cabin in northern Wisconsin, planting flowers and riding around the lake in their pontoon. She loved to travel all across the U.S. Especially Palm Springs and Laughlin, Nevada. She made friends wherever she went. Her life was full of people who loved and respected her. She will be deeply missed by all.

A service will be held Thurday March 26, 2026 at the Cremation Society of MN St Paul location, 1979 Old Hudson Rd, St Paul, MN 55119, at 11AM following a visitation beginning at 10AM. There will be a reception from 1PM-4PM at the Hugo Legion, 5383 140th St N, Hugo, MN 55038.
