Reuder, Mary Janet “Jan”, Age 90, of Bloomington, MN, died peacefully at home on March 01, 2026. Preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Marg Heimerl; beloved husband Leo Reuder; daughters Ann Thorud and Kathleen Foley, and son Leo Reuder. She  is survived by sons Tom (Connie) Reuder and John (Katie) Reuder; daughters Lisa (Tom Knier) Reuder, Jenny (Terry) Okonek; son-in-law Bill Foley; daughter-in-law Roxy Reuder; special family friend Shirley Jonas and her daughters; sister Judy Brick; brother Bill (Sue) Heimerl; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and long-time friends. Jan was born in Minneapolis, graduated from The Academy of the Holy Angels High School in 1953, and in 1957 from the College of St. Catherine with a degree in education.  She married Leo Reuder in 1957. They moved to Germany in 1958 where they lived for 3 years while Leo served in the United States Air Force. They returned to Minnesota in 1961 and raised their 7 children in Bloomington. Jan worked as a substitute elementary school teacher in the Bloomington schools for several years before her retirement. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Sharing and Caring Hands of Minneapolis or St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Bloomington. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, April 29th, 2026, 11:00a.m. at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, 901 East 90th St, Bloomington, MN 55420 with a reception at the church and inurnment at Bloomington Cemetery to follow. Visitation from 10:00a.m.-11:00a.m. prior to Mass at the church.
