Gail Orel Thurston Obituary

Gail O. Thurston passed away Feb. 21, 2026. She was born Feb. 8, 1934 in Duluth, MN to George and Evelyn Swanson. She was raised in West Duluth and graduated from Proctor High School.


She was preceded in death by her parents, four siblings, first husband Gerald Boissonault, sons Jason and Keith Boissonault, and second husband Richard Thurston.


She is survived by daughter-in-law Peggy Boissonault, granddaughter Jodie Boissonault, nieces and nephews. Inurnment will be at Oneota Cemetery.
