Marland Allan Hildebrandt Jr. "Chip" age 71, passed away peacefully February 23, 2026. He was a resident at the MN Veteran's Home-Minneapolis where he cherished many friendships and opportunities. Marland was born November 1, 1954 to Marland "Skip" and Shirley (Feltz) Hildebrandt in Wausau WI where he attended grade school. He graduated from Waconia HS in 1973 and completed vo-tech in 1976. Marland honorably served his country in the United States Navy, serving 10 years on the USS La Moure County in Norfolk VA and the USS Denver in San Diego CA.

He enjoyed the outdoors, feeding the chipmunks, fishing, his black coffee and spending time with his loving family and friends at the Vets Home. Marland is preceded in death by his father Marland Hildebrandt Sr. He is survived by his loving family: mother Shirley Hildebrandt; siblings Cathy Hildebrandt, Linda (Jerry) Pickle, Louise (Joe) Gallus, Dennis (Kelly) Hildebrandt, Julie Hildebrandt, Randy Hildebrandt, Sue (Dean) Garoutte, Connie (Lee) Gorres and many nieces and nephews. Donations may be made to the MN Veterans Home-Mpls.

A private celebration of life will be held by family at a later date.
