Surrounded by family, Robert Leon Thull passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026, at the age of 89. Born in Weyerhaeuser, Wisconsin, he carried the values of hard work, faith, and devotion throughout his life.
Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Thull. He is survived by his children, Patrick Thull, Roberta Thull, and James Thull; his grandchildren, Amanda White, Christopher Thull, Joshua Thull, and James Thull Jr.; and many other great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Robert proudly served for over 30 years as a bus driver with Metro Transit. A devoted Catholic, his faith guided his life. He was known for his strong work ethic, steady patience, and genuine kindness. The handiest man you could know, he was able to fix or build just about anything and was always willing to help family, friends, and neighbors.
He loved his family deeply and cherished time spent at his cabin and land in Wisconsin. He will be remembered for his warm smile beneath his hat, his quiet strength, and his enduring presence.
Robert lived a life of quiet strength, stubborn determination, deep faith, and unwavering love - a love he showed daily through his actions, his consistency, and his constant presence.
He will be deeply missed.
