Celebration of Life

Jeri Gavenda Berg, born March 11, 1966, of Eagan, MN, passed away at home surrounded by loving family members, after a 15- month couragous battle with brain cancer, on February 16, 2026. Preceded in death by parents, Jim and Carol. Survived by husband, Rich; children, Kelsey, Michael (Bridgette) and Erin (Nick); siblings, Kim (Chris), Kay (Roy), Bryan (Jodi), Tracy (Jim), Amy (Doug), Robin, Heather (Bryan); stepmom, Kathy and stepdad, Norman; 5 grandchildren; other relatives, good friends and beloved dogs, Brian and Canoe.

Jeri was an Enterprise Sales professional in the senior healthcare market for over 25 years. She was a valued team member for Zimmet Healthcare. Jeri was a very competitive person in business and in sports, especially boxing and bodybuilding. Her tenacity allowed her to win the overall championship for the DFAC Pro Classics figure competition in bodybuilding.

Celebration of Life will be on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 1:00 - 4:00 at the Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Avenue S., Edina, MN, 55435, (952)-924-4100. We will be giving those that would like to share their thoughts and memories of Jeri the opportunity to share starting at 1:30.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to your favorite dog rescue or the Animal Humane Society.
