Gregory Michael Comstock, age 73, passed away peacefully at home on February 22, 2026, surrounded by his girls after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer.

Born on May 12, 1952, in Minneapolis, Greg was the embodiment of a life lived with purpose, love, and laughs. He was an incredibly hardworking and dedicated man, qualities that defined both his professional life at 3G Enterprises and his commitment to his family. Known for his infectious sense of humor, Greg had a gift for making people smile; he was loved by anyone who ever met him and was the heart of every room he entered. He was an avid fisherman, finding peace on the water everywhere from the Boundary Waters to the Caribbean. At home, he was rarely without a book or a crossword puzzle, and he famously took great pleasure in beating everyone at cribbage.

While his kindness reached many, he was most deeply adored by those who knew him as Dad and Grandpa. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter and strength.

Greg is survived by his loving partner, Robbie; his daughters, Kelly (Mike) and Jenny; and his four grandchildren who were his pride and joy: Maddy, Leo, June, and Ben. He is also survived by his siblings, Karen, Karla, and Jason (Denyce), as well as many friends and extended family who will miss his quick wit and calm presence.

A celebration of Greg’s life will be held on what would have been his 74th birthday, May 12, 2026, at the:Cremation Society of Minnesota Edina, 7110 France Avenue South, Edina, MN 55435. Visitation 1-2pm, Service 2-4pm.
