David Ingram, Age 90 of Roseville, MN, Passed away on February 13, 2026, from complications of Alzheimer’s disease. Born April 16, 1935, Dave grew up in the St. Paul community he would always call home. He graduated from Central High School in 1953, where he played hockey as an outstanding goaltender.
Dave proudly served in the U.S. Navy, including three years of active duty in the 1950s (as a parachute rigger) and 15 years in the reserves. Following his time in the Navy, Dave attended Dunwoody Institute, where he earned a certificate in HVAC installation, a calling he pursued for the next 40 years as a member of the local Sheet Metal Union. A “jack-of-all-trades,” Dave was well known for his ability to fix just about anything. Dave was a devoted Christian whose faith guided his life and he was deeply involved in his church community, where he faithfully served and found great joy in fellowship.
Dave married Joan (nee Connett) in 1955. Their 70 years of marriage is a testament to their deep love and devoted partnership. Together they raised four children. Dave coached youth hockey and, with Joan, attended virtually all of his grandkids’ sporting events. Dave and Joan had a passion for travel and adventurous road trips, ultimately visiting every state in the continental United States on their Honda Gold Wing motorcycle.
Dave is preceded in death by his parents, Ros and Marjorie; his brothers, Ros Jr. and Richard; and his daughter, Diane. He is survived by his wife, Joan Ingram; his children Scott, Brian (Theresa), and Karen (Jean Marston); grandchildren Kirk (Melissa), Lucas (Taylor), and Morgan (Matt); and great grandchildren Alexa, Theodore, Riley, Nolan, and Elin.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 27 at 2 PM, with visitation at 1 – 2 PM, at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, 2300 Hamline Ave N, St. Paul, MN 55113. In lieu of flowers, donations to Get Up Stand Up to Cure Paralysis are deeply appreciated.
