Anthony “Tony” Frings passed away peacefully on February 16, 2026 at the age of 64. He was born on January 17, 1962 to Marcellus “Marsh”and Joyce (Becker) Frings. Tony graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 1980. Tony went on to move down to the Minneapolis area where he met Patricia “Patti” in 1992. Tony loved everything cars, building houses, wood, and cooking his amazing waffles and homemade pizza, and his family.

Tony is survived by his mother, Joyce and sister Lori (Dan) Potter, his beloved wife Patti (Meyer), and their six children, Christopher (Christie), Ashley (Aryn), Natalie (Teo), Jennifer, Zachery, and Rachael. His grandchildren Crosby, Griffin, Jasmine, Chloe, and Raina. His dog Meyer Mae. He is preceded in death by his two brothers, Jason and John, his father Marcellus ”Marsh”.

Tony was someone who could fix anything, he could take a totaled car and completely rebuild it by himself. He built 2 amazing houses from the ground up and fixed any problem that would come up. He will be greatly missed, but we all know that we will see our Husband, Dad, Son, and Brother again.
