Demorion Montez White Obituary

Obituary for Demorion Montez White

Demorion White was born on December 26, 1981, in Centreville, Illinois. He was born to Barbara Lynn White and was raised by Dottie (Stewart) Hunt, Barbara (White) Williams, David Williams Sr., and Gayle (Wade) Williams.

Demorion attended school in District #189 in East St. Louis, Illinois, including Hughes-Quinn Rock Junior High School. He was extremely proud of earning his GED in Minnesota on May 17, 2023, marking a significant personal accomplishment.

Demorion grew up in East St. Louis, where his closest friends and family affectionately called him “Woo.” He later moved to Minnesota, where he met the love of his life, Pearl (Boner) White. Woo and Pearl met in 2007 and were united in marriage in 2013 at Power Source Ministries, where they faithfully attended together.

Woo had a deep passion for writing, producing, and performing his own music. He enjoyed working on cars, cooking, playing cards, watching movies, telling jokes, reciting memorable movie lines, and doing yard work.

Woo loved his family and children dearly. He cherished every moment spent with his loved ones, especially his children, Tyrone “Tyja” Harlan Jr., Dalorian Davis, Jayden White, Jamal Lucas II, Demorion White Jr., and Bailey Davis. He particularly looked forward to helping Demorion White Jr. with his homework, taking pride in being present and supportive.

Woo also enjoyed cutting hair and aspired to become a licensed barber, always seeking ways to grow and build a brighter future for himself and his family.

Demorion was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. He was greeted at the gates of Heaven with open arms by his grandmother, Dottie (Stewart) Hunt; his grandfathers, Arthur Richards and Corinth White Sr.; his auntie, Sharon Stewart; his uncles, Corinth White Jr., Johnnie Hoyle, and Rodney Richards; his cousin, Michael Williams Jr.; and his best friend, Courtney Brown.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory to his beloved wife, Pearl White; his children, Tyrone “Tyja” Harlan Jr., Dalorian Davis, Jayden White, Jamal Lucas II, Demorion White Jr., and Bailey Davis; his mother, Barbara (White) Williams; his father, David Williams Sr.; his stepmother, Gayle (Wade) Williams; his sisters, Marquita White, Ashley Williams, LaToya White, Andrea Chism, and Brandy Simmons; and his brother, David Williams Jr.

He is also lovingly remembered by five aunts, one uncle, sixteen nieces, ten nephews, two great nieces, one great nephew, and a host of close friends.
