Age 90, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026. He was preceded in death by Sharon, his loving wife of 55 years. He is survived by and was a devoted father to Vicki (Stan), Shelly (Tom), and Lori (Brian); proud grandfather to Melissa, Annie, Al, Julia, Claire and Margaret, and a cherished greatgrandfather. He will also be lovingly remembered by Bev Bjerkebek (sister-in-law), many nieces and nephews, and special friend Zola Bechtold. His warmth, steady presence and love for togetherness will be deeply missed. A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, February 20, 2026 at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, 825 51st Ave NE, Columbia Heights, MN. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. A luncheon and fellowship will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St Timothy's Lutheran Church.
