Vicky Lee Condon Obituary

Vicky Lee (Powers) Condon, age 81, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Richfield, MN.

Vicky once dreamed of becoming an archaeologist, but her mother gently guided her toward nursing — a

path that proved to be a perfect match for her caring, compassionate, and nurturing nature. She became

an exceptional nurse, admired for her dedication, her work ethic, and the meaningful relationships she

built with her patients and colleagues.

Vicky had a love for travel and exploring the world. She was also an avid reader, often finishing two to

three books a week. Summers were her favorite time to relax on the deck, surrounded by her beautiful

flower-filled yard, laughing as she watched her dog, Kai, perform his silly antics — especially his

enthusiastic battles with the sprinkler.

Her friends will forever miss her infectious laugh, sharp sense of humor, kindness, and remarkable

thoughtfulness. Vicky cherished her life, her friends, and her family.

Her daughter will miss everything about her — but knows her mom will forever be in her heart.

Vicky is survived by her daughter, Joely Blesener (Chris Johnson), her fur baby Kai, her sister-in-law,

Carol Hagerty, and many beloved relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael,

parents, Ray and Elizabeth Powers; and her siblings, Doug Hagerty, Steve, Jeff and Susie Powers.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Episcopal

Church, 7227 Penn Ave S, Richfield, MN with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
