Marilyn Theresa Wilbur aged 85,  passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026 at Mercy Hospital after a short battle with lung cancer.  Marilyn was born in Superior Wisconsin on March 16, 1940 to Joseph and Vienna Polaski.

Marilyn graduated from Superior East High School and married Richard Wilbur on November 27, 1958.  She held various clerical positions during her time as well as being a stay at home mom.  She enjoyed going to her grandchildren games, concerts as well working on puzzles with her friend Nyla.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband Richard and sibling Diana Polaski.  Survived by daughters Linda, Terri (Jim) Nordaker, son Rick (Melissa) Wilbur.  Sibling Joyce Lier, Brother- in-law Robert (Bea) Wilbur. Grandchildren Shae (Justin) Dahl, Nick (Amanda) Larson, Megan and McKinsey Wilbur and Great Grandson Gage Larson.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 16th at The Church of St. Timothy, 707 89th Ave NE, Blaine MN.  Visitation will be at 10am, Service at 11am and luncheon to follow.  Private Inurnment will be at Morningside Memorial Gardens.
