Francis William Higgitt, age 59, of Chanhassen, passed away on January 12, 2026.  Francis grew up in Ilion, New York, before attending Herkimer County College and SUNY Oneonta to receive a degree in Criminal Science.  In 2004 he married his wife, Roxanne and they enjoyed 21 years of marriage together. He was a very good poet, and an avid bowler for many years.  Francis loved reading and could always be found with a good book by his side. 

He is survived by his Wife, Roxanne; Daughter, Krystina; Stepsons, Ryan and Brandon; Sisters Peg, Patty (Louie), Paula (Don), and Jamie; Brother, Joe (Eva); and many other family and friends. 

He is preceded in death by; his parents, Joseph and Mary Higgitt; Foster Parents, Greg and Dorothy Pope. 

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.   

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 20th, 2026, at 11 AM at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Parish, 680 Mill St, Excelsior, MN 55331.
