Joyce Hegge, age 73, of Brooklyn Center, MN, passed away at home on 2-1-2026 with her husband by her side.  Joyce was born on 12-4-1952 in El Paso, Texas. Joyce was the child of Frank Jirovec and Shirley (Ryan) Jirovec.

Joyce graduated from Finlyson high school and went on to study cosmetology in Duluth, MN.  She had a successful and fulfilling career as a cosmetologist for over 50 years. Beyond professional life, Joyce loved spending time in her flower gardens. She love shopping and was “the master of the deal.” She loved to shower people in gifts always making sure you had a nice jacket or a “bag o things.” Joyce cherished spending time with her family and friends.

Joyce is survived by her husband Bill, step daughter Angela (Phil) Link, step son Daniel (Jenni) Hegge, granddaughters Brooke, McKenna, Ella Hegge, brother Jerry (Colleen) Jirovec, sister Bonnie Laun, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by per parents Frank and Shirley Jirovec, son Keith Henkel, and brother in law Danny Laun.

A celebration of life will be held at Evernorth on April 18th, 2026 at 12:00 PM at
