Dick Lacy went to heaven on Saturday, January 24, 2026, just shy of his 98th birthday, and is reunited with his beloved wife, Marie. He is survived by his children Dean (Karen) Lacy of Park City, UT; daughter Diane Lacy Harr of Edina, MN; son Jim (Colleen) of New Orleans, LA; grandchildren Brooke (Matt), Amanda, Kelsey (Charlie), Ricky (Jaime), Jacob (Kayla), Samantha (Travis); and great-grandchildren Brodie, Cole, Drew, Dean, Reece, Wesley, Duke, Ellie.
Dick graduated from Cornell University and became a sergeant in the U. S. Army. He married and moved to the Midwest with Marie to raise their family. Dick enjoyed a successful career as executive vice president of Westway Trading Corporation. Avid golfers, Dick and Marie loved spending summers in Edina, MN and winters in Naples, FL.
Proud of their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, Dick looked forward to sharing time together whenever possible. Treasured happy memories and gratitude for his long life will surround his family and friends in remembrance and enduring love.
With appreciation, memorial gifts may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, the American Cancer Society, or a preferred charity.
