Cooper Blaxton Obituary

BLAXTON, John "Cooper", age 81, of Champlin, passed away on January 20, 2026.  Longtime accountant and chief executive at Cooper's Accounting, Inc.  He loved woodworking, attending bible study with his "Forever Friends", and biking through the Elm Creek Park Preserve.  Above all, he loved Jesus, his Lord and Savior.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Ollie and Mildred Blaxton; brother, Lee Darnell Blaxton; sister, Cathy Rataj and Nephew, Timothy Blaxton.  He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Jone; children, Michael Dubay (Jill Werner), Mark Dubay (Rachelle), Christina Isenberg (Dan); grandchildren, Zachary, Jakob, MacKenzie, Alisha, Logan, Charlotte, Calista, Cecilia; brother, Gerald Blaxton (Janie); sister in-law, Nettie Blaxton; nephews, Daryl Blaxton (Patti), Mark Blaxton, and Phillip Blaxton (Stephanie); nieces, Terry Blaxton and Susan Rolland (Jackie); and many other loving relatives and good friends. Arrangments are pending.
