Arlene Marie Weiner Hammond, age 103, of New Prague, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026 surrounded by loved ones.

Arlene graduated from White High School in White, South Dakota, and later attended Dakota State College. On May 29, 1942, she married Robert Hammond, with whom she shared many wonderful years.

She enjoyed baking, reading, playing cards, and spending time with her family. Arlene lived all 103 years of her life to the fullest, had a genuine interest in others, and deeply loved her family.

She was blessed with two children: her daughter, Judi (husband Michael), and her son, Michael (wife Karen). She is also survived by five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents; two sisters; and one brother.

A celebration of her life will be held in the Spring, of 2026. 

Arlene will forever live on in the hearts of all those she touched.
