Pamela J. Mueller (Johnson), age 78, passed away on January 14, 2026. She lived her life in the Twin Cities metro area, where she built a career, a family, and a lasting legacy of compassion and service.

Pam is survived by her loving husband, Stephen Mueller; her sons, Gabe (Melissa) Cook and Zach (Julie) Cook; and her daughter, Harmony (John) Nelson. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Tyler and Bryce Cook; Sebastian (Katie) and Jaxon Nelson; and Nolan and Hudson Cook. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Elaine Johnson.

Pam began her professional life in nursing, guided by a deep desire to help others. Her love of learning led her to continue her education, ultimately earning a PhD in psychology. She dedicated the majority of her career to supporting and caring for teenagers at the West Suburban Teen Clinic, where she touched and helped countless lives. In the final chapter of her career, she served veterans at the Hastings Veterans Home, continuing her lifelong commitment to compassion and service.

Pam was known for her open and curious heart and mind, and for welcoming everyone just as they were. In her later years, she found a spiritual home in Buddhism and cherished her time at the Zen Center in Minneapolis.

Our lives were all made better by knowing her, and this world will be just a little bit dimmer without her light. We send her off with all our love.
