Our Dear Wife, Sister, Stepdaughter and friend passed away January 8th after a long illness. Lori had courageously battled illnesses for over 45 years.  Her deep strength to carry on, her motivation to live, has always been her family and her Husband of 23 Years Merlyn Francis. Lori was born March 31st 1962 to Melvin and Diane Davis.  Lori grew up in the Denfeld area of 40th Ave West and 5th St. With older brother David Davis (Duker) and younger brother Michael Davis (Mike). Lori was known as the waitress at the Tappa Keg Restaurant where she was endeared by everyone she served and worked with. With her illness, Lori felt the call to be not just a patient but a care giver.  Lori attended Lake Superior College and earned a CNA Accreditation, hired at St Eligus Nursing Home and Rehab.  Once again, Lori gained respect for her work and made many friends.  Lori later became a patient there and was given loving care. Marrying Merlyn, the love of her life, gave her a wonderful chance to be her loving self.  Merlyn had been faithfully by her side throughout all her tough times. Her Brother Mike, Sister-in-law Cindy, Niece Jessica and Nephew Jack were a daily loving  support for Lori. 

Lori is Survived by Husband Merlyn Francis, Brother Mike Davis, Sister-in-law Cindy Davis, Niece Jessica Davis, Nephew Jack Davis, Step Father Walter Bruley, Step Sister Jennifer Braswell (Ryan & Faith), Uncle David Bartig (Mimi), Niece Jamie Davis.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Lori Saturday January 24th 1 PM - 3 PM at the Tappa Keg Restaurant 70th Ave West and Grand Ave
