Jerome "Jerry" Kern Robertson, 86, was born in Bradenton, Florida, and has been a resident of Minneapolis since 1968.  Preceded in death by parents Sam and Agnes Kern Robertson; brother Samuel J. Robertson; and sister-in-law Ferolynn Robertson.  Survived by wife Patricia (Kline) Robertson; nieces Laurie (John) Casey, Jennifer (Greg) Snead, Susan (Alex) Ramos; nephew David (Dani Hopkins) Robertson and many other family and close friends.

Graduated in 1956 from Manatee High School in Bradenton, Florida, Florida State University in 1960 and University of South Florida in 1972.  Served on the U.S. Air Force from 1961-1965.  Was married to Pat in 1968.

Began his teaching career in the Minneapolis Public Schools in 1968 where he taught Social Studies in several Junior and Senior High Schools.

Enjoyed reading, creating house plans and city maps, and researching family genealogy.  Memorials preferred to the University of Minnesota Foundation for the School of Nursing.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 AM on March 14th, 2026 at The Waters on 50th, 3500 W. 50th St, Minneapolis, MN 55410.
