Joyce Leona (Jindra) Kamrowski was born on October 11, 1944, in Milaca, MN to the late Franklin and Leona (Leason) Jindra. Joyce attended school in Foreston, MN and Milaca, MN. Joyce was united in marriage to Peter Kamrowski, Jr. on April 18, 1964, at St. Louis Church in Foreston. Joyce and Peter owned and operated bakeries in Foley, Pierz, Long Prairie, and Little Falls, MN for over thirty years. Through the years, Joyce and Peter traveled to many places, including Russia and Poland, to teach baking skills to others. She had many hobbies including quilting, gardening, decorating for the holidays, crafts, many activities at St. Otto’s Care Center, and spending time with family and friends.

Joyce passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026, surrounded by her daughters at the St. Cloud Hospital. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kim (Carl) Bot of Harrisburg, SD, Jody Kamrowski (Dean Maki) of Minneapolis, MN, and Paula (Bradley) Kamrowski-Poppen; grandchildren, Samantha (Blake) Perryman, Alina (Jeffrey Boitnott) Maki, Ari Maki and Orion Kamrowski-Poppen; great grandchild, Amelia Perryman, siblings, Franklin (Joan) Jindra of Foreston, MN; Jean (Deb) Jindra of Hinckley, MN, Kenneth (Darlene) Jindra of Villages, FL, and sister-in-law Bonnie Kamrowski of Foley, MN and cousin Judy (Randy) Fernholz of Rice, MN.

She was preceded in death by her husband Peter; her parents, Franklin and Leona Jindra; her sister, Mary Lou White; her nephew, Christopher Kamrowski, and her beloved dog Delta.

A private burial service will be scheduled at a later date.
