Patricia Ann Kelliher (nee Marr), age 94, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.  Pat was a longtime resident of the south metro area, including Richfield, Bloomington, and most recently, Edina.  Pat was born in Osage, IA and was the second daughter of Lloyd and Gladys (nee Hubbard) Marr.

Pat grew up on a farm near Riceville, IA in the middle of the Great Depression.  Those humble beginnings never held her back from living life to the fullest.  Pat attended Mount Mercy College on a math scholarship.  When she finished school, Pat left Iowa for the bright lights of St. Paul and took a job with Northwest Airlines.  Because the airline industry was just taking off, the times crackled with excitement.  Even more thrilling for Pat was encountering a fellow employee at a Northwest Airlines company picnic.  His name was Jim, and he and Pat were married over 52 years before his passing.

Pat lived independently until the end.  She loved a good cup of coffee, baked an awesome pie, avidly followed current events, knew the details of every family member’s life, and could outplay anyone in a game of Scrabble. 

Pat is survived by her three children, Mark (Kathleen) Kelliher, Denise (Bradley) Alzen, Laurie (Michael) Wormuth; seven grandchildren, Isaac (Kristine) Alzen, Shane Wormuth, Lucas Alzen, Jenna (Austin) Daniel, Analise (Barak) Zierhut, Jack Wormuth, and Tessa (Justin) McLean; and seven great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss her dearly, but who are grateful for the exemplary life she led.

 A Celebration of Life will be held on May 15, 2026, at the Church of St. Edward in Bloomington, MN.  Visitation begins at 10:00AM, Mass will commence at 11:00AM, and lunch to follow.  Donations can be made to the Church of St. Edward.
