On January 14th 2026, Kevin started a new journey entering into eternal life where he was met by his parents and brother Philip who preceded him. Kevin was born on April 25th, 1957 in Worthington, MN. Kevin’s parents Norbert Kuemper and Verna Hunt (nee) soon relocated to Watertown, S. Dakota where he grew up and went to school. When he was old enough to work, he started working at a small local grocery store which grew into his long-time career.

Early in his adulthood, Kevin decided to venture out of S. Dakota and relocated to Minneapolis. He started working at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Downtown Mpls. After leaving Hyatt, he returned to working in the grocery business; advancing into management positions within SuperValue and Walgreens.

In the spring of 1988, Kevin met Roger Harris. Their relationship endured for over 37 years. Roger stood by taking care of Kevin to the very end, to his very last breath. Kevin leaves behind his brother Craig Kuemper, extended family and many friends.

Kevin touched many lives during his lifetime and will be truly missed.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in the spring.
