Mary Kay Hoseth Obituary

Mary Kay Hoseth age 80 of Minnetonka, a loving mother, grandmother, and dear friend, passed away on December 21st, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Mary Kay was born on May 16th 1945, in Huntington Park, CA. Moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota as a young girl and graduated from Roosevelt High School. Went to Lab tech school and worked many years at Fairview Southdale. She was known for her kind spirit and appreciation for life’s simple joys. She loved traveling and exploring new places, tending to her garden, going for walks, and spending time playing cards with family and friends.

Wherever she went, her sense of humor followed—quick-witted, warm, and always ready to bring a smile or laughter to those around her. She was a devoted mother to her four children Kristin, Kim (Mark) Keri (Zack) Kern (Kristi) and a proud grandmother to her five grandchildren; Anna, Nathan, Kennedy, Eli and Ben, all of whom were the center of her world. Along with stepchildren Greg Hoseth (Carol) Susie (Fabrice). Step grandkids Rosalyn, Jacquelyn, Lindsey, Lauren, Amanda, Luc and Elodie. Sisters Shelly and Nancy (Terry), and niece Nicki. Mary Kay’s love for her family was constant and unconditional, and she found her greatest happiness in time spent with them.

She was preceded in death by parents Frank and Betty Pintkowski, Husband Wayne Hoseth, daughter Kristin, Stepdaughters Linda, and Liz.

Those who knew Mary Kay will remember her for her kindness, her humor, and her ability to make every gathering brighter just by being there. Her legacy lives on through the family she loved so deeply and the many lives she touched. Deeply Missed, forever in our hearts.
