Carol Ann McClernan Obituary

Carol Ann (Larson) McClernan passed away peacefully on December 24, 2026 after circumming to Alzheimers.


Carol was born on September 9, 1945 to Edna and Wilhelm Larson in Duluth, MN. She spent her life in Duluth, St. Paul and at her lake home in Makinen, MN. She spent her career as a dedicated and caring nurse. She enjoyed traveling, skiing, lake life and mostly spoiling her grandchildren.


She is survived by her two sons Mark (Cherie) Buraglio and Tony (Kelli) Buraglio. Her grandchildren Kaja (Stefan), Sonja (Fred), Noah (Abby) and her great grandchildren. She also leaves behind four step-children, aunt, nieces,nephews, other family and many friends.


She is preceded in death by her parents, Edna and Wilhelm Larson, her brother, Richard Larson and her husband, Daniel McClernan.


There will be a service held on Friday February 13, 2026.  Visitation will be held at 1:00, the service will be at 2:00 followed by a reception at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave. Duluth, MN 55807

Carol was a proud breast cancer survivor and battled with Alzheimers.
