Age 83, of Savage, MN passed away Friday, January 2 at Burnsville Ridges Hospital

after a battle with cancer. Born in Indianapolis, IN, Michael graduated from engineering

school at the University of MN after two stints in the Air Force. He retired from a long

career as an air traffic control engineer at Lockheed Martin. Michael enjoyed nothing more

than taking things apart and building new things. He leaves behind a wonderful collection

of handmade furniture and family treasures. Michael is survived by his wife, Sandra; son, Mike (Sarah);

much loved grandchildren, Brynn and Rowan; nephew, Christopher (Lymari); and partner-in-crime

great nephew, Cyrus. He will be sorely missed. A celebration of Michael's life will be held at a later

date when weather permits. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or charity of your choice.
